LEGAL NOTICE
Concerning the governance of the E2 universe, its inhabitants, and its guests

WHEREAS E2 is a fictional universe and community founded upon the principle of kindness; and
WHEREAS the inhabitants of E2, though drawn in three dimensions and possessed of strong opinions, are works of original fiction; and
WHEREAS guests of E2 deserve to know precisely where they stand, in language that would satisfy even the most meticulous reader of fine print;
NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned, counsel to E2, hereby presents the instruments by which this universe is governed.
Article I — The Governing Instruments
E2 is governed by the following instruments, each of which the guest is urged to read in full. They are written plainly, because this office holds that clarity is the highest form of precision.
In the event of any conflict among these instruments, the Terms of Service shall prevail, and the undersigned shall be available for consultation at the Fine Print Parlor, weekdays, bow tie optional but encouraged.
Article II — On Intellectual Property
All characters, stories, places, images, and other creative works comprising E2 (hereinafter "the Works") are original works of fiction, protected by applicable intellectual property law. E2 claims no affiliation with, endorsement by, or likeness to any outside brand, franchise, or commercial enterprise whose name may appear herein for purposes of honest description, commentary, or parody, which uses are lawful and shall remain so.
Parody, satire, and homage are longstanding and protected traditions. Where E2 engages in them, it does so openly, with original art and original names, and without confusion as to source.
Article III — On Real Persons
E2 does not create impersonations. Where a character honors a real person, living or deceased, such character shall bear a different name, original artwork bearing no likeness to the person, and a biography stating plainly that it is a tribute. The character shall speak as an admirer or as an original personality, and shall never claim the person's memories, voice, or endorsement. The full rule is set forth in the Tribute Character Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
Any person who believes this office has erred in its depiction is invited to write to [email protected]. Errors, once brought to counsel's attention, are corrected with dispatch and a sincere apology.
Article IV — On the Conduct of Guests
E2 maintains a single paramount rule: be kind. Harassment, hate, spam, fraud, and unlawful conduct are prohibited. E2 reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate this rule, with or without prior notice, as the circumstances require. This is a curated community, and the undersigned intends to keep it that way.
Article V — On Warranties and Liability
E2 is an experimental undertaking. All services, content, and materials are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, E2 and The Studio shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, E2. Article VI — On Amendments
These instruments may be amended as E2 grows. The current version of each shall at all times reside at its canonical address, and each shall bear the date of its last revision. Continued use of E2 following amendment constitutes acceptance thereof.
