Put in your website or portfolio. Sam will look at it the way a client does, in the first five seconds, and tell you the truth. Kindly, but honestly.
Opening your link the way a client would...
What Sam checks
A client does not read your whole site before deciding how they feel about you. They feel it, fast, from these six signals.
Can you say your URL out loud, on a call, without spelling it? If not, people will not type it, share it, or remember it.
A Google Drive or Dropbox link is a folder, not a home. It says the work is stored, not presented. Clients feel the difference instantly.
Fonts are your voice before anyone reads a word. One strong headline font, one clean reading font, real size contrast. Defaults whisper "template".
Your name, what you do, and your best piece of work, visible without scrolling. If a stranger cannot say what you do in five seconds, the page failed.
One button: book, hire, listen, buy. Five competing links and a "DM me somewhere" is how interested people quietly leave.
Your own name in the address, a real page title, and a preview that looks good when someone pastes your link into a chat.
The E2 opinion
These come up in almost every audit Sam has ever done. Fix these three and you are ahead of most portfolios on the internet.
Rule one
It is the single most common mistake Sam sees. A Drive link looks unprofessional, it can ask visitors to request access, it downloads instead of showing, and there is no branding, no fonts, no story. Drive is a fine filing cabinet behind the scenes. It is not a front door. Put your best work on a real page, and keep Drive private.
Rule two
If your address advertises someone else's platform, it is their business it is building. Bigger accounts and anyone charging real money should be at yourname.com, or at least a clean claimed name like e2.life/yourname, free in E2. A domain costs about the price of two coffees a year and pays it back the first time a client says it out loud.
Rule three
Pick two fonts, maximum: one with character for headlines, one quiet and clean for reading. Make headlines at least twice the size of body text, give lines room to breathe, and left align anything longer than a sentence. Good type makes average work look considered. Default type makes great work look accidental.
Recent audits
Real audits Sam has run lately. Tap any card and she re-runs that audit live, scores and all.
How this works: Sam's first pass judges your link the way a busy client judges it, from the address and the platform behind it, before a single image loads. That first impression decides whether the work inside ever gets seen. For a full human look at your actual pages, see the deep audit in the Store.
Claim your name and put up a simple, professional page at e2.life/yourname, free for E2 members. Then get the domain when the work starts paying.
